The same Jesus we call the Prince of Peace is also The Lion of Judah. Religious and hypocritical people always point out the parts of the Word that demonstrate a peaceful and loving God. They push patience and reconciliation. They claim time is the best fixer of issues and scream peace in the face of righteous anger.
It's funny, those ignorant to the truth are suggesting that peace is the best way to create change. Peace is being used as a cover for "accept it and move on." But this country went to war for the right to live free of financial and religious oppression. So drawing blood over the freedom to pursue happiness is more justifiable than fighting for the freedom to breathe in peace.
Enough is Enough. The same God of peace and love demonstrated time and time again that He wrecks the high places, breaks down walls, destroys the oppressors, and lays waste to the systems that keep the oppressed in shackles. Don't be lulled back into a monotonous existence. Don't feel for a moment that your anger is misplaced. Now is the time to stand. Wake up women of God.
Where are the Queens who are ready to not just fast and pray - But where are the Queens that will stand and declare that our children are precious. Our men are important. Our lives matter.
As I lay here with my prince sleeping on my chest, I have to wonder about the fear. The desire to hold him close, keep him home, turn back time and put him back in my womb. Is this the purpose? Is this the goal of the execution of our babies? To intimidate us to stop producing Kings and Queens who intimidate the weak just by breathing?
Maybe, just maybe, a young Queen is being convinced that abortion beats bringing a target into the world. I have to wonder, what's the purpose? Then I stop wondering and realize that I have a voice. I have a choice. The choice is LIFE and it's my job to speak it.
There will be peace. The unborn will see LIFE. Our sons will live. They CAN breathe. They are Kings and our daughters will stand among them as Queens. It's time to stop waiting and start moving. Support the movements. Continue to be the Light. Continue to speak the truth. Continue to demand justice.
Last but certainly not least, continue to pray and praise the God that does not forget, forsake, nor flee from the petitions of the righteous. There will be justice and the blood that was shed will be repaid. In Jesus name.
